We offer same-day consultations and are equipped to handle the full range of wisdom tooth presentations in-office.

Why Brentwood Patients Choose Us

Brentwood is one of Suffolk County’s most densely populated communities, and many residents here put off wisdom tooth removal until pain or swelling forces the issue. We see this regularly — patients who were told years ago that their wisdom teeth should come out but never followed through. Our Deer Park office is accessible from Brentwood via Route 231 or Deer Park Avenue in under 10 minutes, and we offer same-day appointments for patients who cannot wait.

Same-Day Care When You Need It

We know oral pain rarely waits for a convenient time. That is why we offer same-day consultations and procedures, so you are not stuck waiting weeks while a broken tooth or infection worsens. We also provide urgent same-day care for dental emergencies, giving Brentwood patients a reliable option when something goes wrong unexpectedly.

Our ability to perform immediate implant placement means we can often replace an extracted tooth with an implant during the same visit. This matters for patients balancing work schedules, childcare, or long commutes who cannot afford multiple separate appointments spread across weeks or months.

Wisdom Tooth Removal at Precision OMF

Wisdom teeth are the last molars to develop, and they frequently cause problems when there is not enough room for them to come in properly. When they become impacted — stuck beneath the gum line or growing at an angle against adjacent teeth — they can cause pain, infection, crowding, and damage to neighboring roots. Even wisdom teeth that appear to have erupted normally can create pockets that are difficult to clean and prone to decay.

Impacted Wisdom Teeth. Fully or partially impacted wisdom teeth require surgical removal. Dr. El-Ounsi performs these procedures under local anesthesia with sedation options ranging from nitrous oxide to IV sedation, depending on the complexity of the case and patient preference.

Erupted but Problematic Wisdom Teeth. Wisdom teeth that have come through the gum but are crowding other teeth, causing bite issues, or are impossible to keep clean can also be removed. These extractions are often simpler but still benefit from a surgeon’s precision.

All Four in One Visit. In most cases, all four wisdom teeth can be removed in a single appointment. This minimizes recovery time and eliminates the need for multiple procedures.

Coordination with Your Dentist. Many patients come to us after a referral from their family dentist or orthodontist. We work directly with referring providers to make the transition seamless and share post-operative notes so follow-up care is coordinated.

Sedation Options for Anxious Patients

We recognize that fear of the dentist’s chair keeps many people from seeking care until a small problem becomes a painful one. To address this, we offer a full range of sedation options, from local anesthesia to IV sedation to general anesthesia, so you remain comfortable regardless of the complexity of your procedure.

Our team is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, giving us the training to safely monitor patients through sedation from start to finish. We also work directly with Brentwood-area patients on financing, accepting CareCredit, Cherry, Alphaeon, and Proceed, along with most major dental insurance plans, so cost concerns do not stand between you and needed treatment.
